Acceptable Use Policy

This policy outlines acceptable and prohibited uses of the BuzzrdAI platform. All users must comply with these guidelines.

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the BuzzrdAI platform and services. By using BuzzrdAI, you agree to comply with this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

BuzzrdAI provides AI-powered phone answering services for legitimate business purposes. This policy is designed to protect our users, their callers, and the integrity of our platform.

2. Prohibited Uses

Zero Tolerance

We have zero tolerance for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive use of our platform. Violations may result in immediate account termination.

You may NOT use BuzzrdAI for any of the following purposes:

Illegal Activity

  • Any activity that violates federal, state, or local laws
  • Fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes
  • Money laundering or terrorist financing
  • Sale or promotion of illegal goods or services

Deceptive Practices

  • Impersonating another person, business, or organization
  • Operating scams, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent businesses
  • Misleading callers about the nature of your business
  • Phishing or attempting to obtain sensitive information deceptively

Spam & Unsolicited Communications

  • Using BuzzrdAI for outbound telemarketing or robocalling
  • Generating artificial call traffic to manipulate usage
  • Any use that would violate the TCPA or CAN-SPAM Act

Harassment & Abuse

  • Threatening, harassing, or intimidating callers
  • Stalking or invasive surveillance of individuals
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or content that promotes violence
  • Bullying or deliberately causing emotional distress

System Abuse

  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or overload our systems
  • Reverse engineering or scraping our platform
  • Using automated tools to abuse the service
  • Circumventing security measures or usage limits

Content Violations

  • Adult content, explicit material, or pornography
  • Content involving minors in any inappropriate context
  • Promotion of violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights

Regulatory Violations

  • HIPAA violations (sharing protected health information improperly)
  • Violation of financial regulations (PCI, SOX, etc.)
  • Breach of professional licensing requirements
  • Violation of industry-specific regulations

3. TCPA Compliance

Telephone Consumer Protection Act

BuzzrdAI is designed for inbound calls only. Using our platform for automated outbound calling without proper consent is prohibited.

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) regulates phone communications in the United States. As a BuzzrdAI user, you must:

  • Inbound Only: BuzzrdAI is designed to answer inbound calls to your business. It is not a tool for outbound telemarketing.
  • Consent Records: If you use any call data for follow-up communications, you are responsible for maintaining proper consent records.
  • Do Not Call: Respect the National Do Not Call Registry and any internal do-not-call requests from individuals.
  • Time Restrictions: Follow all applicable time-of-day restrictions for any follow-up calls you make.

4. Call Recording Laws

Two-Party Consent States

Florida and several other states require all parties to consent to call recording. Our AI provides disclosure, but you are responsible for ensuring compliance with laws in all relevant jurisdictions.

BuzzrdAI records calls to provide transcripts, summaries, and quality assurance. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Our AI receptionist informs callers that the call may be recorded
  • You are responsible for understanding and complying with call recording laws in your state and the states where your callers are located
  • You will not use call recordings for any unlawful purpose
  • You will not share recordings in ways that violate privacy laws

Two-party consent states include: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Washington.

5. Your Responsibilities

Account Security

Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Accurate Information

Provide accurate business information and keep your account details current.

As a BuzzrdAI user, you are responsible for:

  • Account Security: Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and immediately reporting unauthorized access
  • Accurate Information: Providing truthful business information and promptly updating your account if details change
  • AI Configuration: Ensuring the instructions and information you provide to configure your AI receptionist are accurate and appropriate
  • Caller Follow-Up: Reviewing call summaries and following up with callers in a timely and professional manner
  • Legal Compliance: Understanding and complying with all laws and regulations applicable to your business and industry

6. Enforcement Actions

Policy Violations

Violations of this policy will be addressed based on severity and may result in immediate account termination.

If we determine that you have violated this Acceptable Use Policy, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Warning: For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning and request corrective action
  • Temporary Suspension: For moderate or repeated violations, we may temporarily suspend your account pending investigation
  • Permanent Termination: For severe violations or failure to correct issues after warning, we may permanently terminate your account
  • Legal Action: For violations that cause harm to BuzzrdAI, our users, or third parties, we may pursue legal remedies

We reserve the right to take immediate action without notice for serious violations, including illegal activity, fraud, or actions that threaten our platform or users.

7. Reporting Violations

Report Abuse

If you witness or experience a violation of this policy, please report it to us immediately.

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us at support@buzzrdai.com.

When reporting a violation, please include:

  • A description of the violation
  • Any relevant evidence (if available)
  • The approximate date and time of the violation
  • Your contact information for follow-up

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. We may not be able to disclose the outcome of our investigation due to privacy considerations.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Post the updated policy on our website
  • Update the "Last updated" date
  • Notify users via email for significant changes

Your continued use of BuzzrdAI after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue use of the service.
